Jordan Barbour

Jordan Barbour is the controller at Capital Square. He is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s accounting function with specific focuses on Capital Square’s real estate investment trust (REIT), Delaware statutory trusts (DSTs) and financial reporting for the various consolidated entities.

With over a decade of professional accounting experience, Barbour has advanced knowledge of US GAAP, including specific technical accounting issues such as business combinations, consolidation and leases among other areas. Barbour served as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young Richmond’s assurance practice prior to joining Capital Square, working with both public and private clients in numerous industries, including real estate, manufacturing and consumer products.

Barbour earned a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in accounting from James Madison University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
